RECORDINGS

The earliest known recording of the choir is of the choristers taking part in the first performance of Benjamin Britten's War Requiem to celebrate the opening of Coventry Cathedral in 1962. This has been released as a CD and an excerpt can be heard here.

War Requiem

Later in the 1960s an EP was issued with the choir singing This Joyful Eastertide and King Jesus Hath a Garden. The record also featured a welcome from the Vicar, the bells of Holy Trinity and John Strickson playing the organ.
